Day 2 - Say it with sparklers

This idea requires your digital camera and a couple packs of sparklers.

Wait until it's dark outside and set your camera to take pictures on the night setting (slow shutter speed).  Using a tripod helps but is not required.

Light the sparkler and use the sparkler to draw romantic images such as hearts or words such as "I Love You" while the camera takes a picture.  The slow shutter speed will create a complete image of your sparkler drawing.  If you're writing words - you will have to write them backwards (takes a little practice).  Check out the image below.

Tips:  Work quickly - the shutter speed is slow but still only a few seconds.  Don't try to write out long phrases -- you will only have time for one or two words.
